Awesims not only offers free Sims 3 and Sims 2 creations they offer high quality and very functional objects. I have never seen anyone create to this type of standard. I think every creator should look up to Awesims for inspiration.

Oh My Nursery!

Lets face it. Most simmers pay little to know attention to Nursery’s. The only think the baby needs is a crib. Once the baby ages to a toddler then all you need to add is a potty and a few toys. I mean they really don’t need much till they age to children, right? Wrong! Decorating your baby’s room from the beginning is a must. Not only does it make your Sims home look complete but improves the mood of the parents. Making feeding, changing, and playing way more pleasurable. With that in mind I have created a very nice Nursery room with objects from Sims 3 Nieuws. and Simpossible to help you get started.

kyta1702 form Sims 3 News (Sims 3 Nieuws) has crated a beautiful Dresser, table, wall shelf, and crib. It’s something every nursery should have. no more empty room with just a crib.

For accessories I used the objects form Simpossible. The mirror, swing and wall decor completes the room wonderfully. I hope you find my advice helpful and use full. Enjoy!

Teaming Up

So recently I have started talking to an old friend of my Ryan who I meet at Woohoo Sims but now at The Sims Supply (Due the the closing of WS) and we have decided to team up and create a lot together! Wont give any details away just yet but I will tell you that its going to be wonderful. With his excellent layouts and my interior design instinct it’s bound to be perfection. Oh and by the way they may not be very many posting over the next few days. My sister is about to have here baby and I am with her at the hospital and the wifi here is very very slow and will make it near impossible to post updates and info. However I am going to try my hardest to post a new download very soon!

Vintage Styles

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a beautifully furnished Sims 3 home. You just need to the out side the box, and the Vintage Style allows you do to just that. Vintage is often referred to as “Old and out dated” and who wants to decorate there home with old out dated objects and styles? I do thats who! Now I admit you have to be very careful when decorating your home with the Vintage Style because you can have your home end up looking like a thrift store and we do not want that at all.

There are three basic rules to follow when decorating a room in the Vintage Style that you should try to follow. By following these rules you will prevent you from turning your room into a your very own thrift store.

RULE NUMBER ONE: GROUPING

Grouping is one the most sipleist way to achieve the vintage look. When grouping not everything has to be old you can mix some new in with it just make sure you use different frames, colors, and styles like Marlene did that limelove.

RULE NUMBER TWO: WALLPAPER

In the Vintage style wallpaper becomes your number one friend, not your enemy. Don’t be afraid to mix and match wallpaper either. At my-mashup they really know how to use wallpaper. Just look at the example above! they used there own wallpaper as well as some form Paisley Avenue.

RULE NUMBER THREE: CLUTTER

Add some clutter to finish the room off. This can be a very easy task if done properly. When cluttering you want to keep form establishing that “Thrift Store Look” I have been talking about. Don’t just place tons of objects together the is a form or art to it. It will see like everything has a place and belongs there it is done correctly. again make sure to mix old with new for a true vintage look.
